Ego less meditative Runner

October 30, 2011, an easy meditative 8-mile run my thoughts my religion is to live and die without regret, to understand now, to understand emptiness, to be compassionate, to be strong and healthy. Who thinks of sickness until it strikes like lightning? When preoccupied with the world, who thinks of death, until it arrives like thunder. All meditation should begin with arousing deep compassion. Whatever one does must emerge from an attitude of love and benefitting others. Some worldly pursuits have, but one inevitable end, which is  destruction off the mind.  Set aside 15-minutes a day and realize the truth from within. That alone is the best of religious fulfillments.

Ego less meditative Runner

October 28, 2011 an easy 7 mile meditative run> It is human nature to desire recognition and to want to look better than what we are. When that desire seizes control of us, it is easy to lose sight of who we are and what our real purpose is; on that note I will say be true to your heart.

Ego less meditative Runner

October 27, 2011 an easy 5-mile meditative run my thoughts, empty the mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now put the water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, and it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be like water.

Ego less Runner

October 26, 2011 an easy 7-mile meditative run my thoughts; Love yourself and be awake -
today, tomorrow, always. First, establish yourself in the way, then teach others, and so defeat sorrow. To straighten the crooked you must first do a harder thing straighten yourself.
You are the only master, subdue yourself, and discover your master.

Ego less Runner

October 24 2011, easy 7mile meditative runs my thoughts; fire wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds. We only lose what we cling too, Fill the mind with compassion, learn not to live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is only one reality, and that is you. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, but everything.

Ego less meditative Runner

October 23, 2011, easy 7-mile meditative runs with plenty of thoughts. Remember always that we are just a visitor here on earth, a traveler passing through. Our stay is but short and the moment of our departure unknown.
None can live without toil and a craft that provides our needs, it is a blessing indeed. However, if we toil without rest, fatigue and weariness will overtake us, and we will deny the joy that comes from labor’s end.
Let us speak quietly and kindly and be not forward with either opinions or advice. If we talk much, this will make us deaf to what others are saying. Let us be near to help others, but far when praise are offered.
Take small account of might, wealth and fame, for they soon pass and they are forgotten. Instead, let us nurture love within you and strive to be a friend to all. Truly, compassion is a balm for many wounds.
Let us treasure silence when we find it, and while being mindful of our duties, let us set time aside, to be alone with ourselves. Cast off pretense and self-deception and see ourselves as we really are,
despite all appearances, no one is evil, but led astray by ignorance. Pondering with this truth always, will offer more light within, than blaming others.  Our essential Mind is pure. Therefore, when defilements cause us to stumble and fall, let us be of good cheer and with this understanding, then summon strength and walk on.
Faith is like a lamp and wisdom makes the flame burn bright. Let us carry this lamp always and in good time the darkness will yield and will all abide in the Light.

Ego less meditative Runner

October 21, 2011 in silence I aroused followed by an easy 4-mile meditative run, my thoughts, our worst enemy cannot harm us as much as our own unguarded thoughts. Practice developing the mind of equilibrium, as for the price of mind control, which is getting praise and blame, do not allow either affects the poise of your mind, follow the calmness, and the absence of pride.
Thank you

Ego less meditative Runner

October 20, 2011 in silence followed by an easy 7 mile meditative run my thought’s the greatest achievement is selflessness. The greatest worth is self-mastery.” The greatest quality is seeking to serve others. The greatest precept is continual awareness. The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything.
The greatest action is not conforming to the world’s ways. The greatest magic is transmuting the passions. The greatest generosity is non-attachment. The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind.
The greatest patience is humility. The greatest effort is not concerned with results. The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go. The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances.”

Ego less meditative Runner

October 17, 2011 in silence, I aroused followed by 0 miles meditative thinking my thoughts, Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though it’s been honored for many generations, and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that you have been inspired by ^^^^^^^ because you have been told otherwise. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conformed your conduct thereto.

October 14, 2011, in silence I aroused followed by an easy 4-mile meditative run. Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like a locked room and books written in a foreign language. Do not look for the answers at this moment, you will not find them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present, just live the questions. One day you will gradually, without noticing find yourself experiencing the answer.
