Monday reflection

I woke around two this morning and by 2:22 was already on the yoga mat where the silence felt sacred and the breath became prayer, for today was a lesson in humility as I stretched and remembered what I read last night about yoga turning the soul inward toward God, and as the body opened I learned to sit more, to listen more, to let the spine speak and feel the slow healing rising through my back where divine energy rests, and by the time the sun began to stir I had completed 600 push-ups flowing through stretches that brought my body close to the earth where I discovered that humility is born from respecting the ground, for when I bow, twist, and roll on the floor, the ego melts away and the ground reminds me to surrender, and each movement teaches silence while each breath teaches patience as even the world mirrors what I need to strengthen within — stillness, faith, and discipline — so I return to my breath, my body, and my run, already moving forward by 5:30 with gratitude, knowing yoga, meditation, and discipline are my most faithful companions, and the path of humility begins when I touch the ground and stay there long enough to hear God whisper back, for sometimes life allows me to witness contradiction up close — a soul speaking of healing while feeding the very wound they wish to close — yet I have learned that this too is a mirror not for judgment but understanding, because confusion is its own teacher showing me how precious clarity is and reminding me that healing cannot be forced, for each being must choose truth for themselves, and so I no longer try to correct what is lost in illusion but instead breathe, observe, and let the lesson reveal itself, seeing how easily the mind disguises control as care and the ego hides behind good intentions, teaching me to stay rooted in silence, in breath, in peace, for the only way to truly help another is to become the example and not the noise, and thus I return to my practice choosing stillness over argument, compassion over control, and truth over appearances.
