Friday reflection

Daily Reflection – Silence, Discipline, and Truth ✨

I rose before dawn, stepping into yoga, push-ups, and breath. Each movement reminded me of patience — that life, like the 12 Steps or a single push-up, grows one breath, one effort at a time. In blending push-ups with postures, yoga becomes meditation, a union that shows me I am one with the sun, the moon, my veins, my breath, and the universe.

In stillness, I realized: God is not noise. God is silence — a subtle vibration, like the moon’s hush and the sun’s steady light. Breath is what transforms scripture, lessons, and even struggle into living truth within me. Without breath, the words remain flat; with it, they come alive.

Life has humbled me. I remember when I once judged someone begging for money, only to later find myself in the same place. That moment taught me never to judge again. Begging showed me that we are not made only to take — we are designed to give. Even in scarcity, I’ve always had just enough, and the lesson has stayed with me: to remain humble and grateful.

I see myself like a tree. Its height and strength are visible, but its roots — the storms, the scars, the struggles — are what made it grow. The past is only the soil. The present is what keeps the tree alive.

So today, I choose truth, patience, and humility. I choose silence and breath. I choose to stay grounded and to keep growing in strength and spirit.
