Social Reflection (short version)
I woke at 3:00 a.m., on the mat by 4:00. Frustration turned to gratitude — I am a living miracle.
On my jog I passed others homeless like me and asked the universe to lift me. I realized if you’re not mentally strong, your mind can get used to this. I chanted hard, and out came determination.
I thought about my son’s mother leaving — no anger, only release. I want her free, and I move on in love.
Walking past Kroger and the jazz festival, I saw people buying food while I can barely afford my own. Yet self-love carries me. Honest talks with my own mind keep me strong.
Discipline, yoga, meditation — they center me in sanity. Each day I give thanks: one foot, one breath, one miracle at a time. 🌿
