Daily Reflection – Teaching through Discipline

This morning I rose with gratitude. My body felt tired from yesterday’s push-ups, but once I stepped on my mat, something shifted. By 6 a.m. I had already done more than 600 push-ups, and the word that came to me was procrastination.

For years, I rushed through life — running fast, counting miles, chasing numbers. But lately, I’ve been moving slow. Jogging slowly. Breathing slowly. Opening my spine with patience. And in that slowness, I’ve found strength. The truth is, procrastination isn’t just about waiting to act — it’s also about rushing so fast that you miss the lesson.

What I see around me is that many people pretend. They hide behind overeating, vaping, smoking, or other habits — but they don’t admit it. Without honesty, there can be no real healing. When you cover the truth, you cover your own soul. Ego steps in, jealousy appears, and fear replaces discipline.

But when you live with discipline — yoga, meditation, push-ups, running slow, breathing into the body — you can’t lie to yourself. The body won’t let you. The sky won’t let you. Nature won’t let you. Discipline is truth.

Today, my teaching is this:

Slow down to speed up. Be honest with yourself. Let procrastination leave your body, not through words, but through action. Discipline is the only wealth that cannot be taken away.

I walk with gratitude, guided by the sky above me, and I trust that nature remains my greatest teacher.
